RECOVERY
Immediately following surgery, you will be taken to our fully equipped recovery room where your vital signs will be closely monitored by specially trained nurses. The amount of time you spend in recovery depends to a great deal on the type of surgery and/or anesthesia you have had. Some patients spend as little as 1/2 hour in the recovery room area; others spend 2 hours or more. Your surgeon and anesthesiologist will answer your questions regarding length of stay in the recovery area.
